Rod help
I took my rods out to see if any are bent. The car has a back fire and I looked @ everything else. One of the has a little wobble to it when I rolled it on some glass. My question is would that cause my car to back fire? Should I replace? Thanks
You really did'nt specify your problem, so Ill guess you have a backfire problem.
Yes, it's bent, But depending on how severely bent will dictate your problem. I don't think one push rod would cause it to back fire. I would get a new set of pushrods and install them. Then test to see if that fixed it.
You might check the TPS, and the crank position sensor. It sounds suspiously like your opti but I tend to blame everything wrong with the world on that piece of crap.

Actually I have another one that has a slight wobble just a little. So if they have any slight wobble should I change them? My opti only has about 5000 miles on it. Is there any way to test the opti? Thanks for any info

I would replace anything that has even the slightest wobble in my engine. As far as the opti, there is no way that I know of to test it.
