rod bearing clearance

Can anybody tell me if this is right. I measured the rod bearing clearance with a plastigauge, and it came out to be .001in. This seemes kind of tight to me, but I wasnt shure. Does anybody know what it should be? It is on the stock rods and crank with new bearings and rings.

If you are running all stock components and are not going to spin it past the stock redline, I would run it a little tighter at .002" on the rods/ .0025" mains/.0028" #5 main.
