Rockers
HRE:
The Crane "Gold" 1.6 self aligning roller rockers work under stock 1995 rocker covers with no modifications. Non-self aligning rocker need hardened pushrods and pushrod guide plates and some mods to the stock rocker covers. Do a search about the mods. I think it can be as little as "squeezing" some of reinforcing stringers or in some cases cutting them out.

A couple of weeks ago, I did a heads, cam and rocker arm swap on my son's 96 LT1 Vette. I converted to Scorpion 1.7/1.65 NSA rockers. guide plates and hardened pushrods and they fit without any modification whatsoever under the stock Corvette valve covers.
I don't know if 'F' body covers are the same internally as 'Y' body covers but I do know that his stock covers DO NOT look the same, internally, as those shown on Golen's website. Apparently all LT1 covers aren't the same.
Hope this helps.
