Do I need to use any sealant or threadlocker or anything?? They're ARP 7/16" studs and I'm putting in 14011051 GM guideplates in too.

 

I used sealent on mine.

 

When I did mine I used loc-tite , and torqued each stud to 50 ft. lbs.

 

I didn't use anything

 

The factory service manual says to use sealer PN 12346004 or
equivalent. I used permatex sealer, and torqued to 50 ft-lb.

 

Well, I ended up using Blue threadlocker and hand torqued them, as I don't have a torque wrench.

Maybe someone can shed some light on this though:

Every last stud hole was helicoiled........anyone else's car like that?
