rocker arm's rubbing the top of springs ,why?

Actually the reason I ran into problems was because of the lock I used that had the +.050. This left less of the valve showing so the SA rockers would rub. I have stock length pushrods and when I switched to the NSA rocker everything worked out fine. I have had no problems what so ever.

I may have found my problem, I recently bought new valves standard lenth maybe i should have got .050 longer so i am stuck with these now can i use locks that are +.050 to get the stem to stick up a little higher out of the retainer?

If ya go +.050 ya will have less stem above the retainer. A -.050 would work if ya don't run into coil bind with your lift.
