rocker arm question

Does anyone make a self-aligning, NON ROLLER, 1.6 stamped steel rocker arm? I've called Dal already and GM does not. I know the roller is the better setup and I could use guideplates and non self aligning, but class rules prohibit both. Thanks.

Re: rocker arm question

Crane Comp and Elgin as well as a few others make em, I would recommend the comp or crane peices as the cheaper ones tend to crack around the pivot ball. Summit and Jegs carry both. Oh the tips are roller, but the pivot is a ball socket type, not completely meeting your demands.

Re: rocker arm question

Stock LT1, vortec type rocker arms are self-aligning stamped steel rockers.

CompCams makes some very nice rollertip self-aligning rocker arms that are not full rollers.
