Most have found that the GMPP guideplates are the way to go. But I can't tell from the pictures if yours are ok or not. Are all the roller tips centered on the valve tips? Are the pushrods centered in the slots of the guideplates?
So its my guide plates that are making the rocker arms all off center?Could the pushrods be the wrong size? looking at the wheel on the tips they look pretty center but some wheels are half on/half off the valve tip!

The GM plates work fine for me. They are not the same spacing as SBC plates. The adjustable give you the ultimate in alignment customization.
