Question Road debri tore a hole in my intermediate exhaust pipe...need help!!

Hey fellas, I was driving my car across the Triborough Bridge today and apparently ran over some road debri that I didn't see. Whatever I ran over and kicked up tore a hole the size of a gumball in my intermediate Borla exhaust pipe. The hole is right behind the catalytic conv. where the intermediate pipe begins to curve. Is there any way to repair that hole? I'm on a real tight budget with paying off school loans and everything so I'm looking for the cheapest fix. Would it be possible to intall a cut-out in that location (right behind the cat) or can that pipe be fixed some other way? Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance. BTW, how's everyone been? I haven't posted in ages, but I don't think anyone remembers me anyways.

i had the same thing happen to me last year and just took it to a competent exhaust shop and they just cut out the bad section and welded in a new pipe. have not been able to tell a difference except for looks. shouldnt cost to much, i was charged about $50

Im sure you can take it an exhaust shop and they can weld that hole up. My 02 bung came apart and i just got that hole welded shut and made another one.
