is this the right angle on the hone job??
just curious...i was thinking it is supposed to be like 30 degrees or so.
nevermind the stuff that looks like rust on the deck...its a mixture of the liquid i used and a little rust from the cylinder.

Re: is this the right angle on the hone job??
The hone looks like it should seat your rings just fine, but I still see a ridge at the top of the bore. Have you miked the bore and checked for taper with a dial gauge? If your trying to reuse stock parts on a stock/driver rebuild I understand, but if not a bore and hone is pretty cheap if your buying new parts anyway.

yeah, reusing stock parts on a driver. should i remove the ridge from the top. i plan to mic the walls in the next couple of days to make sure its all ok.
