I don't like the switch that comes with the kit and would like to change it out with a different one. Basically what I am going for is a toggle w/ cover and changing to a single throw since I never use the low speed at all. Does anyone have a schematic for the wiring or any helpful advice?

There are diagrams on my Tech Page for wiring of the home made fan switches. If all you are doing is changing out the switch, I would think it would be pretty easy (of course I don't know how SLP did theirs).
