Reverse lock out

Reverse lock out

Who knows what this is and is it the cause of why I have troubling getting into reverse? I have to slam it to the right and throw it up to get it in there.

Try putting it in 5th or 6th before putting it in reverse

i can do that, but it still has the same effect...i have to kill it

My tranny has the same problem, it gets quite annoying at times. I'm thinking it's just a bad solonoid causing it, but damned if i'm gonna tackle that myself.
