I hear alot about revalved shocks but what are they really. Do you tear the shock apart and adjust them to your cars specifications or is it something more elaborate??

 

Revalving is typically done by the seller. They do a lot of revalving at www.stranoparts.com mostly on the Bilstein shocks. They do it to stiffen up the front shocks. I gotta tell ya though, I put Bilsteins on all four corners, and they are plenty stiff for me. I couldn't see revalving them. It's mainly for autocrossers in my opinion. It would be a pretty rough ride.
