Rev Limiter

Is there any way to tell what RPM your rev-limiter is set at. I have an OBD1 Cable and Datamaster, plus some other scanning software, freescan, and some other ones?

Not really with the equipment you've got. I'm pretty sure your PCM uses a replaceable PROM (or MEMCAL) instead of flash memory so you'd probably have to pull the chip out and stick it in an EEPROM reader to get the image, then use TunerCat or one of the other editors to look at the rev limiter settings. If you're that far in, you've basically got the equipment to do your own chip burning...

I'm guessing by your screen name that you have a 6 speed, so you *could* just start logging with Datamaster and let her rip in 1st gear until you hit the limiter. It won't hurt the engine since it'll probably cut out around 5500RPM.
The A4 cars have two different RPM limiters, one for 1st gear and another for 2-4. I'm not sure what the manual cars have (I'm also talking about the 94-95 models because I'm more familiar with their programming).

Another option comes to mind. You could open the PCM and read the calibration code that's printed on the chip. It should be 4 letters like "BJYL" (that happens to be the code from our 95 Tahoe). Then hit the
GMECM board and ask if anyone knows what the settings are for that calibration. Somebody might have that bin or a close relative to it that they can take a peek at for you.
