Retune after stall ???

Retune after stall ???

I've been told that after i put in a stall that is 3000 rpm or over i have to get my car retuned or else it wont shift into 2nd at WOT???? Does any one know what needs to be tuned or modified to work??

Yes, you absolutely need a tune. Send your pcm to a place that tunes like madtuner, pcm for less, or try trifecta tuning

people like trifecta because they don't need to send in their pcm, a little custom handheld is shipped to you, you connect it and upload the tune, then send the handheld back.

I already have a madtuner tune and i have a local guy that will be charging me 50 to tune this one issue for me.. But what is he going to be tunning.. I was told he will be tunning the rpm vs vss?

He'll probably lower the rpm to shift at wot or set it so that it shifts by mph and not rpm. The thing can't shift fast enough after it is initated so that needs to be altered to give it more time or otherwise set to compensate for it..
