Rethreading Pro 5.0 shifter for Cobra knob
I have a customer that has installed a T56 tranny from a 97 Z28 into a 91 Camaro (or he may have said a Mustang) and has a shift **** from a 2003 Cobra that he wants to use on it. He says that the threading is different. My questions is whether or not anyone knows of someone that will sell a stick that will fit both the T56 Pro 5.0 and the 2003 Cobra shift ****.

Or, you could just buy a mustang handle. I'm pretty sure that Pro 5.0s were actually first for Mustangs, and then came to the F-body platform. Ask some suppliers, they should be able to hook you up.
I don't know of anyone who sells a stick but I can make the stick you have work for you.
A lathe may work, just depends on how the stick is shaped. If not, it shouldn't be a problem in a CNC mill. Just interpolate the OD and thread mill to the correct thread size and pitch.
Send me a PM if I can be of help.
