Resistor for OBDI

Where do i solder on the resister on the OBDI pcm cuz i did an OBDII to OBDI conversion and i heard i must do this or get a new knock sensor

Get a 3.9k OHM resistor. Cut the Knock sensor wire, and put the resistor on the end, then ground the other side to the frame.

Simple.

Remember this totally eliminates the ability of the pcm to cut timing in case of real knock. Be careful.

If you are replacing the knock sensor, remember that is also serves as a water plug. Protect your eyes. You must use an OBD-1 style knock sensor.
