Replacing V6 with v8 a bad idea?

Just curious, has anyone heard of a V6 replaced with a 350?

With all the mods being done it doesn't seem like it would be that uncanny... Or would I be better off selling my 97 v6 and just buying something with a v8 base?

It would be easier to buy something with a v8 base. The swap isnt all that hard tho.

I would only reccomend doing this swap if you already have the car and the motor.
For example, I am putting a 383 stroker in my 94 Z and will be pulling the old LT1 motor out whole, I also have a 95 V6 firebird 3.4 since I will have the old stock motor out of my 94 and I already have the firebird I think it will be worthwhile to do the transplant.
Now if all I had was the V6 car and would have to buy the engine and everything to do the swap then I would just buy an LT1 car to start with.
With the low prices right now on the LT1 cars its really not worth it to spend the money on the swap.
