replacing tps sensor??
replacing tps sensor??
ok is there any trick to replacing a tps sensor on a camaro?? i changed it and it idles higher now, about 14-1500 and before it was idling at 1k. and found out my crank sensor was unplugged, so i plugged that in and now my car runs like ****..no power..like there is a major miss or something. so i'm gonna check the wires today after work and see how that goes.
There is no real trick. It's a simple swap. New one goes in like the old one came out. Might be a good idea to check your TPS readings with a scanner.
The crank sensor should not cause you problems, unless there is an electrical fault causing trouble back into the harness. It does not figure in to spark calculations so you could unplug it again to see if your problem is related to it.
