Replacing Spark plug wires

I'm just about to replace my spark plug wires. My car is a 1994 z-28 with auto trans. What plugs should I use? I concerened about performance gains, cost, and heat resistance. I'm a bit confused about which wires need heat sleeves and which ones don't. What have you guys used in the past? Stock, Accel, MSD, Taylor? What have been reliable?
Thanks

Re: Replacing Spark plug wires

Before my motor became an experiment I was just using the cheap ones from advance with absolutly not problems in the stock locations. They are also a little longer if you want to route other ways. Then I melted one after the header install then pulled the motor. Now I am going to use Thunder Racing OTV kit. A very good investment IMO.

If you want to stay in the stock looms then go with a 8mm wire, anything bigger and you're going to have a tough time squeezing them into the looms. I used the Taylor Spiro Pro with no fit problems and the lengths are pretty close to stock.

Thanks I was looking at the Taylor spiro pros. I just wasn't sure if I had to surround them with heat sleeves.
