replacing the power steering pump
i don't really want to have to go out and buy a ton of special tools that i'm not going to need later on when i'm kind of tight on cash... if it's possible to do it with regular tools, i'd rather do it that way...
and, btw, if the new pump has a pulley on it already, am i still going to need the pulley puller?

dont mangle the line fittings on the pump you will be in a world of hurt and way over budget. try it with a regular wrench if itll come loose great. if it starts to slip at all stop and go get some line wrenchs. line wrenchs are actually very useful and i highly recomend them. just get a simple set the goes from 3/8 to 3/4 or 7/8. youll use them over and over just like a normal wrench. they are not a waste of money or a special tool thats rarely used. just letting you know. your cars not very old so you want have the problems i encounter at work while working on some of the old vettes. but all the same its money well spent. dont know we get ours from snap on and you dont wont to know how much they cost. it shouldnt be too bad. they are worth the money spent on them, just make sure you get good ones with a lifetime warranty. trey
