is there any special thing that i need to do like letting the pressure out of the fuel lines, or do i just unbolt it and bolt the new one back in?

That's basically it - it's a messy job, no matter what you do. Just make sure you wear eye protection and have some clean rags handy.

You don't need to do anything special. It *might* help a little if the car has been sitting for an hour or so, but other than that, you basically just get under the car and swap them out. There will be some fuel that will spill out of the filter and line, but that's normal. Like I said, just wear good eye protection and keep clear of the filter when you loosen it.
