Replaced Opti Already Starting to Miss Again
Replaced Opti Already Starting to Miss Again
Hi guys,
I recently replaced my Opti about the first week of February. I then had my Pacesetter LT header install done about a month later and now just recently (about a week ago) it is starting to mis-fire again. I checked under the hood at night and I didn't see any arching. I plan on replacing the plugs and wires today because I still have my stock ones still on with my LT's. Is there any possible way it could be the opti again? Also does anyone know if there was any kind of warranty on the GM Opti's? I got my from Jason Kromer in like the last week of January. If it is the Opti will the Delteq work with my current one or will I have to replace the Opti before I can get the Delteq?
Thanks in advance,
~Kevin
Btw the car has 60,XXX miles on it.

Re: Replaced Opti Already Starting to Miss Again
Wouldn't there be arching then? I'm about to do my plugs and wires right now with the Accel Extreme 9000's and NGK TR55's while I do my oil....i'll let you guys know what happens. Thanks,
~Kevin

Re: Replaced Opti Already Starting to Miss Again
I replaced them and it was running fine all night long up until on my way home...i'm fairly confident a wire came off slightly and that is the problem now but my original problem was fixed by the new set of wires. I didn't have so much of a problem with the #8 because of my LT's but I did have a lot of trouble with #5 and #6 because those were under header pipes that come out of the block and it was hard getting the angle. Driver side was the easiest side to do especially since i removed my AIR pump. Thanks guys for input.
