Removing torque arm and driveshaft.

Anyone have any tips on removing these two? Any suggestions or advice will be very appreciated, thanks!!

It's pretty straight forward. I just put the rear up on jackstands and went to work... Here is a pic I took doing the torque arm.

Oh yeah, I supported the transmission with a jack and a cracked flywheel (to disperce the weight of the tranny across the tranny pan) that I had laying around.

The driveshaft is easy. Unbolt it at the rear end. Slide it forward into the transmission enough to drop the rear end, then pull rearward until it comes free.
The torque arm is more work. With the car up on jackstands, lower the rear axle enough to get the rear torque arm bolts up and out of the rear end. At the front end you will need to remove the front torque arm mount from the transmission, then you can remove the torque arm.

I got 'em off. Not too big of a deal, just got alot of crap in my eyes. Forgot to where my glasses.
