Removing T56
What type of clutch did you decide to go with? I should have replaced the pilot bearing on my swap and now it rattles like crazy. I'm afraid I may have toasted the input shaft on the tranny.
Check out this directory for a bunch of pics for reference when I removed my clutch:

Pull it STRAIGHT out. YOu can pull that little housing off once you remove that little hydraulic thing. THen just pull straight out.
I had to FIGHT for a couple hours after that to get mine separated from the bell though, I think the alignment dowels were prety stuck to the holes...
Anywyas, here you can see how it pulls straight out:

Here you can see how I have it pulled out as far as it will go. I actually didn't know that housing would come off at the time:

No problem man, good luck with it! I had a helluva time myself pulling my tranny out, because it was stuck to the bellhousing. Finally got it out while I was UNDER it, had to just take it from there and HOPE I could bench press it out
Luckily it was only ~125 lbs.

The clutch was replace around ~50K miles, by a mechanic for the original owner. As far as I know it's a stock LT1 replacement, but I haven't seen an LT4 to compare. My SPEC PP looks the same though, even says the same thing stamped into it...Valeo...
