Removing Shifter And Console



i gots a bit of a dilemma folks... i have the 95' formula automatic shifter (obviously )... cept this is the prob.


to remove the shifter, i need to get the console out to access where the shifter hooks up to the stuff it hooks up to...


BUUUUT, i have to remove the shifter, to be able to get to get the console out


any hints? i need to get this done today, early preferably cause i been up since yesterday afternoon, and i's sweepy.

You need to remove the shifter ****, to do that you need, to pull up on the parking brake, pull shifter back, and on the front part of the **** there is a big looking staple, get a flatblade screwdriver and pry it out.
