You got good selection of tools and jackstands and such right?
You will need a monster long extension(3 or 4 put together) to get the bellhousing bolts out. I had my tranny rebuilt by a local shop with a good reputation, and it only cost me 750 carryout without TC. A full manual valve body is doable on your 93 but not doable on the 94 up cause the tranny is computer controlled on those cars. You will have to shift the car just like a manual if you go for the valve body so be prepared for that. Stall converter would be a good thing to put in since you will be taking it out anyway. Tranny cooler is another good mod to install while doing the tranny.
Other than that just get the car up HIGH in the air so you won,t have any issues with gettin the tranny itself out from under the car.
Good luck

Thanks Revtime....one more question...did you buy the rebuild kit yourself or did the shop supply that, also do you know what brand the kit was?...i do want the full manual, i think B&M makes one, summit sells it for around $200, thats the only one i found with the full manual option...

The tranny shop I took it too did all the stuff, I have no clue how the insides of an automatic work so I let them handle it.
Think long and hard before you commit to a full manual valve body, thats a hardcore modification and not for the average street car. I would have the shop that does your tranny install a shift kit in it, that will let you shift for yourself and still retain the automatic shifting and you will have nice CRISP shifts. I like Trans Go myself.
