Removing intake manifold...

Okay, this thing is very stubborned. I can see seperation along the driver side but the pass side ain't budgin'. What's the best way to break it loose without messing up the heads or the valve covers?

Thanks

Try getting a paint scraper and wedge it between the manifold and the head, then tap it gently. Once you get it going most times it will come off easy. you can also take a rubber mallet and just hit hit gently, that works too. Are for sure that all of the bolts are out?

Make sure you have all the bolts out(could happen!). Then take a rubber mallet and give it some taps to see if it will loosen up. Or take a pry bar and gently work it loose.

There should be a little nub sticking out of the front passenger side towards the front pry there with a pry bar and it will pop right off. Matt

Superslow I tried that and rounded the soft metal so the pry bar won't grip. But thanks.
