removing engine for first time........
Looks like I have a spun bearing and rod knock.
I found a few guides for the removal of an LT1 out of the bottom, and I feel comfortable to do this myself.
My plan is to pull the engine, order a longblock(complete with heads/cam), put the acesories from my engine(opti/electric waterpump/etc) onto the longblock, get a 58mm TB, install new injectors, and a walbro 255lph fuel pump. Also I will get a dyno tune when I'm done.
I plan to disassemble my old engine as well to learn how to rebuild it, I don't care if I F it up.
Am I missing anything here as far as what I need to get my car running correctly with a 440hp crate lt1?? Do I need an afermarket fuel pressure regulator??
