Remote water pump?

Hi, ran into a snag with my Lt1 into a fiero swap. Went to put it in, and the waterpump is in the strut. Theres no way to use the stock pump. Anyone know if they make a remote pump for an LT1? My only other option is to fab one for a regular SBC, but then a slew of other mods need to be done, such as a thrmostat. Ive looked, and cnt seem to find one for an LT1. If anyone could hep that would be awsome. Ill use a stocker for a small block if I have to, but id rather not.

Check out here: V8 Archies about installing a V8 into a Fiero. They have built a lot of them and I'm sure can point you in the right direction with your install. I have thought about doing a V8 Fiero as well, an LT4 or LS6 Fiero would be wicked!

Ill look into an eletric. Archie isnt worth a damn with my swap. Im using a tranny out of a caddy, and I cant move the motor over as far as he does due to its size. Fiero trannys will not hold much power unlike some claim. the 4t60e can be built to handle a decent amount.

Ok, so you are going with an auto. I see, a manual will actually take more than the auto and can also be beefed up as well. That's what I assumed you were going with, since you are doing an LT1 swap. I believe Summit makes a remote water pump, someone on their message board did a custom LS1 swap and used a remote water pump from Summit.
