reman opti vs oem opti need help asap!

reman opti vs oem opti need help asap!

ok guys my dad is pushing real hard for me to get a napa reman. opti its 176.99 after the core charge.... My real question is .... anyone have any probs with the reman. opti? I am pushing for the oem opti. Any help would be good thanks.

Personally, I don't trust the reman optis. If you use Dal or Jason for a GM opti, the non-vented will be around $300.

let me tell you from experiance ( ohhhhhh i dont even like to think back from it) GO WITH A GM ONE!!!!!!!!!!! besides by the time you get it and a new cap and rotar and the tool to get it apart you will probably have more in it then the new one costs.

what happened to yours? how was the performance side of it? how long did it last... im not going just cap and rotor im doing the whole thing. Reman vs oem

here is what it comes down to the napa opti is 176.99
oem 300+shipping what would you guys do..... as long as it performes the same i will prob go with the reman. i have a buddy that works for napa i could prob get it cheaper than 176.99

Get the opti from DAL. The address is in the post above. It will probley cost less than $230. That is a new GM opti

I've had my Autozone opti/cap on for a year and haven't had any problems... I think the $176.99 from NAPA is either just the cap or the optical portion...I doubt both... The $300 GM is the complete unit, cap and opti... I had to put my Autozone opti together and it turned out to cost more than a complete unit from the guys mentioned above

This was discussed. I didn't know the reman is not the whole opti and thats such a rip off and you have to your use your old housing. If you got a friend a reman is like 89-100 bucks I think.. I wouldn't pay almost 200 for one...

how do you say his name dale, Dail ???? i dont wanna call him up and call him by the wrong name..... 230 for a non vented one ?

The non-vented ones are around $300 maybe a little more now. The vented ones are around $230
