Question Relocation brackets=Lowered??

Do relocation brackets lower the rear any? I was told by a shop owner that rear lowering springs aren't necessary because relocation brackets will do the job.

Either way, I already have lowering springs on all fours and plan on getting relo brackets when money falls in my lap and I wanna know if this is true.

The relocation brackets will not lower the car any. They are only used to properly allign (level) the rear lower control arms, after the car is lowerd via springs.
