Where can I grab a 12 Volt Relay (30 Amp) "(Rally)"

I was always under the impression that you could get one at your local autoparts (napa, autozon, etc)

Some have said that Radio shack carries them but I have never seen one.

Anyone know what type of diode to use, also? I think its for the switch.

i got this red led from the shack, its wired up so that it lights up when the pump is on, the light already had a resistor and wasnt too bright, so it will be ok at night. 2bucks, rip off tho, but necesecary.

i got my 12volt 30amp relay from my local parts store "westminster autoparts" 8something bucks

Ohh you are putting a switch on it... I just wired mine straight to the switch 12v ignition fuse.

A good relay to use is the same as the one for your fog lights in the relay/fuse box under the hood. That way, you can get one at any auto parts store should it fail. I used standard spade terminals on my wiring, so I can swap out the relay in a few seconds.
