Next Mod?????

HEY EVERYBODY,
My mods are on the bottom. What should i do next? basically want a fast street machine, maybe, like a 12-12.5 second car in the 1/4 mile if i go to the track, maybe once or twice a year. Ordered my xe 224/230 cam with a 114 LSA, because of emissions. I'm looking to do the bottom end,. since the cam is going in, anyone know where i can buy a bottom end rebuild kit? I was thinking of a 355 bottom end. Can you guys help me out with this. Don't really know about bottom end rebuild. I just know it woudn't hurt to strengthen it, since the cam kit will be going in anyways, might as well do that 2. Should i go 3:73's or 3:42's????
Thinking about goin with nittos for the rear tires for traction. I'm open for suggestions.
Thanks

It sounds to me like you are more than ready to send out your intake and heads for porting / matching and polishing.

Do that, and a cam, and then a 58mm TB.

Your intake should be fine. There are people running with >600 RWHP with the stock intake. Heads and a cam would be nice.

THANKS for your input. With the mods i already have, and doing the 224/230 114 lsa.
Roughly, how much horsepower am i looking at making rwhp?
need to get subframe connectors 2. Anybody know where i can get a good bottom end rebuild? Is doing a 355 a good choice?

If he has the heads ported, he should have the intake matched to them and have the bores openned up to 58mm. That is all I was saying. You are correct, the stock intake is just fine.
