recommmendations for a new oil pan and oil pump for a 1995 lt1 formula

Not necessarily... My problem was not a Canton pan, but a pan from Smiley's racing for my dirt track car.

Pan seemed great for about week....then developed a massive leak in one of the welds.

My best guess was that the holes were filled with paint and once the paint burned away then it started to leak.

BTW... Is it really necessary for you two to bash each other over wether your oil pan leaks or not?

heh anyways ..i opted to get a stock oil pan from scoggin dickey. it was like 70 bucks. oh well...i just if i stepped up to a better pan id have to get a new pickup for it..id want a new pump...plus the cost of the pan ...id be lookin at 200 plus dollars. my stock pan leaked only because i had it plumed for a return line from my supercharger. i have since ordered an oil cooler and will run..the return inline with the oil cooler..so i wont have to punch the oil pan. i didnt mean to start a flame war lol.. thanks for the advice
