Is an aftermarket larger capacity oil pan something I need to get when going to a 383? I was just going to have my factory pan clearanced for the rods and then use a regular m-155 pump with a high pressure spring. The car is mainly used for street driving and see's the track 2-3 times a year. Will the factory pan be okay or should I be going to something different like a Canton 15-242t or a Milodon 31501. I don't want to starve the motor for oil but if I don't need to spend the extra cash on an oil pan and it is overkill then I will keep my factory pan. Thanks.
