Recomendation on tires.

Ive got a 17 inch 8" wide, and i want something that will have a nice traction, and will last me a while, it probably wont ever see the track.

but this will be my everyday driver rain or shine.

all recomendations would be very kindly apreciated.

i will goto a guy down the street that just hooked up my friends 35" mud tires, looking for a good price, tell me what i should expect and he'll probably do a little here and there for them

I like my Kumho712's - I've had two sets of them and I'm pretty happy - Good traction dry, great traction wet and seem to last much longer than stock BFG's....

If you want to read up, www.tirerack.com has tons of good information...you can search by size, price, reader reviews, traction...you name it.

Discount Tire in my area starting carrying the Kumho's in January and I bought my last set there, rather than at Tirerack...

I have BFG KDWS's. They're great tires. I've had them for almost 2 years and the tread looks nearly identical to the day I bought them.

well according to that page, Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 seems to be the best tires, why would u use the Kumho Ecsta MX over the good year?
just the price?

what all goes into consideration when looking at a great tire?
