Do I NEED 02 Sims?????

I just gutted my cat and read that I need 02 sims since I did that. Is it true? What will happen if I don't get them? Just an SES light, or something more? Any insight would be great!!!!

For the 2 after the cats, NO you dont NEED them....only way you NEED them is if you cant stand looking at the Service Engine Soon light...

Isn't your car OBD1? You only have 2 sensors, and both are before the cat right? You need both those 02s.

O2 simms are only for OBDII cars (4 O2s).

You only need O2 sims for OBD2 cars that no longer have cats, they trick the PCM into thinking that the cats are still there and are functioning properly.
