reccomend a cam!!

These are my heads flow numbers and they have 2.00 1.55 valves (swirl)
.1 66/56
.2 132/106
.3 186/143
.4 235/171
.5 261/184
.6 271.9/192.9

I have to pass emissions so what cam should I go with? I dyno'd the numbers in my sig so I'm looking for good torque and horses obviously. Thanks for the help guys.

I think that the 224/230 would be a good "off the shelf" cam for ya. It should pass emissions too.

I'm thinking about the 306 and hope I pass the smog test.
I'm looking for 350+ horses and 400 torque

What up Gary. I got the XE230/236 on a 114LSA (less lopey) and I should be able to come damn close to 400rwhp with tuning. I made 351rwhp with homeported heads. Maybe we'll be able to meetup next week and you can hear the cam.

Do the 224/230 on a 114 LSA 110ICL. That what I have and my heads flow almost exaclty the same and my car put down 362hp the other day a little lean. Would have hit 370 with a tad more fuel. That's in an auto with a Vig converter mind you. I think in an M6 you could see 385hp.

the 114LS will help it pass emissions safely. You're an OBDI so I would think as long as you have cats the sniffer should be no problem. In the OBDII cars we have to take the PCM test now and sometimes the bigger cams will throw a missfire code which causes you to fail the test.

Did you have a problem with the sniffer? Sounds like a hell of a combo you got going I would like to meet up regardless to hear that puppy run!! What was your torque? On my dyno run my horsepower creeped to peak but my torque was straight from 2000 to redline I'm hoping that it is the same but lots more..

My torque was 340rwtq @ 4800rpm, but was pretty much above 300rwtq from 2200+rpm. I should be around 38#rwhp and 36#rwtq right now. Then with tuning maybe more. I havent passed the sniffer yet cuz I havent gone but I am up this month!
