Anyone where to get a list of all the recalls for the fbody Lt1?? The dealer always says they can't do anything about the recalls. They say that its to late.

 

I'm seeing only 1 recall for a 96Z28. Air pump. And if you really want to fix that.... well ****ing ****, pull it off the car. lol.

All depends... thats like asking if cops are useless.... cuz we all know they are, except for when you see em on cops bustin ***... then you think we need em ... for good watchin.

 

We need cops.....plain and simple. I know people like you don't like to hear it, but it is true. Don't judge all cops by a few bad ones. Ever wondered what the country would be like with no cops or court??

 

as for the dealer saying they wont do the recalls on a old car, by law, they only have to do so within 8 years of the vehicle purchase

 

Only ones I remember from my 97 was the air pump (which actually went on mine and was replaced) and an interior dome light.

10 years or 100,000 miles on the egr valve
some convertible seat belt retractors were installed incorrectly
air pump replacement, no cutoff time given for replacement.

 

The egr recall is not a recall. Check out the thread "egr recall" and read the post by asian sensation, it say that this is not a recall, and you can only get your car fixed if it is affected
