Post Rebuilt WP vs New

Are rebuilt waterpumps much worse than new ones? I've read posts of people both saying that new ones fail just as often as rebuilt ones and vice versa. Any opinions?

You cant go wrong with an A/C Delco water pump, but I have had luck with rebuilt ones. Good thing about rebuilt ones, most have lifetime warranty, so if it fails, no charge for new one.

I got a rebuilt one and the bearing was new and so was the turbine so it is pretty much all new moving parts, new seals, in an old housing. It worked great for me because it was cheap and i know someone at least looked at it.
