i installed a stock tune pcm off of a friends car the other day and still same deal....i drove it for a good 10 mile drive to see if i could get anymore hints and sure enough i think i may have found the problem..i think im gonna lean towards the Torque Converter not unlocking..when its warm it stalls if you dont have ur foot on the brake while u feed it some gas when putting it in gear..that and it shimmys like crazy when in OD. Would the TC cause it to shake at idle up to around 2200 RPM? i personally dont think it is a shortblock issue or should i say engine failure as it has close to 250 miles on it and still sounds ok at idle(no tapping or anything)..im gonna do a Compression Test Thurs. morning and if it checks ok im pulling the trans and converter and running it without it to see if it shakes...
