Question Rebuild questions

Have a 93z with a 10lb vortec SC, Carrol water injection and superfueler. Engine was setup an 18k, 355cid, 9.1cr, forged pistons 1.5rockers, polished stock heads etc... A very similar setup as to Rkrauses' old setup...

Engine now has 55k, started to see some oil consumption about 10k back, and got worse about 3k back, decided to tear motor apart... Does anyone have any suggestions on what brand rings to go with, as well as any other details to go ahead and do as long as I have the motor torn apart?

Would also like to know a good break-in procedure

Any comments are greatly welcome,

thanks alot guys,

Michael

40k miles is a good distance to ride on a build up like that.
I think the "break in" is more important than the brand though.

if you go with moly rings, they like to seat under high heat (beat the **** out of it when you rebuild it )
