my lt1 350 has low oil pressure, and a small knock very very difficult to hear it.when i turn car on the oil is around 40 psi and when it warms and i go into gear it jumps as i accelerate, if i shift from 2nd gear to 5th it will drop to almost 0 psi oil pressure. is this motor in need of full rebuild or freshen up?

Time to get the bottom end rebuilt, as soon as possible. If you keep running it with 0 pressure, eventually it's gonna let go.
