To rebuild or buy a new one?

Got about 110K on the car. I want to build the motor up but its quite old and needs a rebuild, whats more cost effective. Pulling my motor and rebuilding, or getting a new one that I could get a deal and a 3 year warranty on it?

2700 list price. I can get it for a little less cause I know the guys at the shop. It's an exact stock copy with a few little extras like chrome valve stems, hypereutectic pistons, and a few other goodies.

Do it yourself. For 2000 you can build a nice 355.

Why are you going to rebuild it or get a new engine at 110k? That dosn't make any sense if theres nothing wrong with it.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
