Rebuild?

Ok, i have been considering a 383 Stroker for a long time now, and i decided against it due to Forced Inductions gains. I would like to rebuild the engine and i need to start looking for parts. I plan on running a Turbo on this motor,s o i will need a STOUT bottom end. I am looking to go 8.5:1 compression with a forged crank. I have been looking ALL OVER for a rotating assembly for my LT1 and have not been able to find one. Can someone help me out?

Btw. Lloyd is who i will have build my top end for this engine, so where would i get a good bottom end to match? I plan on putting dow about 400+ RWHP BEFORE the TURBO. After, it's anyone's guess but prolly around 600 something (i think). I will run 14 psi everyday and 20 on race day. Thanks, Nick

You might check with Thunder Racing, they advertise the Lunati assembly for $2500 complete.

A lot of shops advertise the more common packages but are just as capable of putting together an uncommon one. If it were my $$, I'd get a shop on the phone and tell them what you're planning and have them come up with the package for you.

that's exactly what I would do too. Get them on the phone. Thunder Racing 'Advertises' the 383 kit, but if they deal Lunati stuff, they can get what you need, and Lunati is good stuff. Anyone can do it if you want to pay. A couple years ago I remember stumbling across a site that dealt with some VERY nice LT1s, and they had the Callies/Cola Cranks, Oliver Rods, etc....I will try to find it for you.
