suspension

ok a stock motor and suspension a4 t-tops...guy that owned my car b4 me ran a 14.2....yeah kinda bad but had problems

lets say stock motor and built suspension like
tubular control arms rear
panhard bar
tourque arm
SFC
bigger sway bar (if matters)...
anything else i cant remember that will put the power to the ground
what do u think it would run.

i mean a built (not extreemeley built) rear suspension is supposed to get ur power to the ground better right?? so what do u think this would run at the 1/4

I would say that your stock auto car with a full suspension being LCAs, torque arm, panhard rod, SFCs, and a good set of DRs should net you some 13.40s to 13.50s IMO.

cool.....thats stock...i mean low mid 13's ( i know the new LS1 can do it)

i can c how more power with the built suspesnsion might make times a little higher b/c of losing traction....

but those times on a stock car are somewhat unbeleiveable ....but i can c how i can make those times with built suspension and stock motor b/c not losing tracton...

thanks for ur input.....its not about how much power u have its about getting the power u have to the ground....

I would just leave the rear sway bar alone. As far as the front, get rid of it for the track. Alot of people including myself leave the front off all the time. You will see very little effect from leaving it off. Hell, I have known people that drive there car on the street that are all about straight line performance take both the front and back bars off. But I suggest just leaving the front off.
