Ok, so the rearend in my car is shot(let a girl drive it for the day and all of a sudden it breaks ), the pinion gear is shattered. I was originally going to buy a used rearend and throw it in there but I am having a lot of trouble finding one around me for a decent price. All the places have asked for 1000+ shipped. Now I'm wondering if it might be more worth my time to just buy a new ring and pinion. If I do that, is it an easy enough install to just pop it in or is it somethin I have to bring to a shop and calibrated by computer or whatever crap they have to do? If I do have to bring it to a shop approx. how much do you think it would cost? Ok, next question, supposing I do get new gears should i upgrade to 3.73 or 4.10 gears. Right now I have 3.42's. Anyway, I'm open for suggestions
