rear shocks....
rear shocks....
was thinking of replacein the rear shocks tommorow as well. are the Monroe 5867's (sensa trac) good enough. they are only 24.88 a piece and I'm pretty sure my rear ones are toast. couldnt hurt right? is anyone running these? and is the rear shock easy to install? just a few bolts right?
I guess they are as good as the factory shock, I don't know. You can get a whole set of the factory ones from SLP for $42.50. http://slponline.com/view_product.asp?PARTNUMBER=96309
The back ones are as easy as they look. You will have to pull the carpet back to get to the top bolts. They are under some triangular foam wedges.

Here's my install guide for your reference ONLY. But I beg of you, do not follow the instructions.

I got mine for 16.99 at Napa autoparts and I just checked the Receipt .... they arent Monroes but they are dam good... Gas Shocks cheap and good...
I would recomend the 16.99 shocks over any Monroe sensatrack... My experience with them .... Piece of ... you know.
Save the money.
