rear main seal bolts

rear main seal bolts

Does anyone know what sizes the 4 bolts that hold the rear main seal on are? I seem to have lost mine while I had the motor apart.

1/4-20 x 7/8 according to the parts manual. But it only shows two.

1/4-20 x 7/8 need 2...p/n 14088561
1/4-20 x 1¾ need 1...p/n 14088562
1/4-20 x 2 3/16 stud need 1...p/n 14101058
1/4-20 nut need 1...p/n 9439915

The long bolt goes opposite the stud/nut. visual

Yes, that is actually how you want to replace it. The oil pan has to come off to remove the housing.
