Rear Main Seal?

Whats involved in doing the rear main seal on a 95 Z28 M6? I might need to do mine. Do I need to drop the tranny? Is it a 1 piece or 2 piece?

Its a one piece and yeah you going to have to drop the tranny, you need to get behind the flywheel.

How bad is the leak? If it's a minor one, this stuff will fix it up:

www.auto-rx.com

I thought I had the intake leak on my car, but it must've been the rear main, because after using this product the leak appears to be totally gone, or at least drastically reduced. I used to have to add 100ml of oil every 600 miles or so, but so far since I last changed my oil (after using this product) I've gone 1800 miles and haven't needed to add any oil at all. This product wouldn't fix the intake leak since it's only going to help conventional gasket leaks, and only if the gasket isn't torn badly.
